Specialist Leaders

The role of Specialist Leaders in First World War Education provides an exciting opportunity to be centrally involved in our unique, prestigious and award-winning First World War Centenary Battlefield Tours Programme.

Around 18 teachers and other school staff, many aspiring to be outstanding middle or senior leaders are currently involved in this aspect of the programme. Specialist Leaders in First World War Education not only develop their leadership and management skills, but also play a pivotal role in developing and delivering aspects of our programme and help to expand its reach into schools at a local, regional and national level.
